Located in the middle is the small village of Monochrom, population roughly 3,000. Go north and you'll find yourself facing a vast forest, go south and you'll hit the ocean. The building and houses further south tend to be more extravagant and modern. Mansions line along the eastern coast of the beach, and many large businesses are located in the area. In the middle of the city lies a large cluster of residential buildings: small neighborhoods, apartments, and townhouses. The further north you go, the more sparse buildings and civilization in general will become.

The village does have its own public bus transportation. Due to its small size, there's very little need for cars, so most of the residents either use the bus, walk, or ride bicycles. There are all the modern technologies: television, cell phones, and internet.

THE FOREST
A few cabins line the forest, and there's even a small area where many people use for camping, hunting, and general recreation. But nobody has ever really gone too deep into the forest. It is rumored that there are monstrous beasts deep inside, but nobody has ever been able to confirm such rumors; at least, not anyone who wasn't raving mad. It reaches so far that anyone who goes into it either never reappears or are forced to return without having reached an end.

THE OCEAN
Like the forest, it seems to stretch on forever. Nobody has ever been able to travel all the way across the ocean without completely running out of resources, and thus, it is hard to know what is located on the other side. The beach itself, at least, is beautiful. The eastern side is the 'richer' side of town, and slightly more touristy. The western coast tends to be less populated and is ideal for those who are just looking for a quiet spot to spend an afternoon.
